I am honored to currently serve as School Board Trustee; my top priority is doing what’s best for the students of our district.
I have a tenured, successful track record of fundraising and advocating for education programs. I accomplish positive results building effective relationships, listening, executing on details and always keeping the target – what’s best for the kids – in sight.
I believe public education is instrumental to our children’s future success. My children attend neighborhood Eastside Schools. I served on the Wise Foundation Board (Waugh District) and KJHS PTSA, fundraising to keep music, art, band, technology and other enriching curriculum available for every student during tremendous budget cuts. I currently serve on Casa Grande’s PTSA board.
I expect fiscal responsibility and work tirelessly to ensure that dollars are spent judiciously in both the classroom and facilities. Creative measures to attract and retain teaching staff are critical success factors – because that’s what’s best for students. With bond funds, my goal is properly prioritize and invest our limited resources for maximum impact.
I have time and resources to find solutions as challenges arise, and am eager to continue working with all constituents keeping Petaluma City Schools award-winning.
I respectfully request your vote.
